Hungarian Business Case Society

The aim of the HBCS Ranking is to create a connection between the organizers of case competitions and their participants. With the help of publicity we would like to introduce the given academic year’s most effective contenders who – based on their performance during competitions – belong to the best case solvers in Hungary. In this year-long competition, the ten most prestigious case competitions are included. When selecting the competitions we took into account the most well-known traditional case competitions organized by (1) universities, student associations, (2) consultancy firms, (3) industry players and (4) business simulation-based competitions. The designated competitions for this year are the following:

The Ranking’s process

The winner of the competitions is that individual contender who collected the most points by participating and getting nice results in the above competitions.  For participating in the final you receive 20 points. For a 3^rd place 50 points, 2^nd place 80 points and for the 1^st place we give 100 points. Beginning next year, those case solvers who rank close to the top of the list will be invited to an exclusive individual case study derby at the end of the academic year. The ranking will be updated after every competition so you can keep track of it during the year.
